In today’s fiercely competitive environment, maintaining a strong drive and making continuous investments in research and innovation are essential. In line with this, F.R.I. collaborated with esteemed energy leaders ANSALDO ENERGIA and EDISON to present a technical study at the latest edition of the “Giornate Nazionali di Saldatura (GNS)” (National Days of Welding), the prominent technical-scientific event in Italy of this sector and one of great significance internationally. The event took place in Genoa, Italy, on May 24th and 25th, 2023.
The collaborative team, consisting of S. Verdino (Ansaldo Energia S.p.A.), N. Marasco (Ansaldo Energia S.p.A.), E. Vignati (Edison S.p.A.), E. Del Forno, and G. Vadori (both from F.R.I. S.r.l.), submitted a technical report titled “Analysis and Comparison of Hardness Measurements by Portable Instrumentation in Report on the Practicability of the Components.”
The report’s primary focus was to underscore the significance of comparing hardness measurements using portable instrumentation. It aimed to highlight the advantages and limitations of different testing systems, providing insights crucial for determining the practicality and acceptability of components.
